Payments & Insurance

As a courtesy to our patients, we will gladly process your insurance claim forms. Our responsibility is to provide you with treatment that best meets your needs. Therefore, when a service has been provided, it is the patient’s responsibility to pay their estimated portion at the time of service. We gladly accept payment in the form of cash, cheque, Debit, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

Dental Insurance

Our fees and those of most insurance companies are based directly on the British Columbia Dental Association fee guide. However, each company has its own variation of the guide and its own set of rules as to what is covered and
what is not. To be fair to all of our patients and all insurance companies, we charge the same fee to everyone. In some cases a carrier may not cover the entire cost of a treatment. It is best to determine this before a treatment is carried out so that you can arrange for the supplementary payment. Ultimately, you are responsible for any fee your insurance company does not cover. Please be aware that due to the new privacy laws, your insurance company may not be willing to provide us with information about your plan. If you receive information from your insurance company after having us submit a treatment estimate to them, please forward this information to us as soon as possible.
